The QA Automation Engineer will join the quality team for an enterprise advertising management platform, with a monorepo that groups more than 12 applications within the product ecosystem. We seek to strengthen the quality strategy, promote test automation, integrate CI/CD pipelines and explore AI tools applied to testing for early error detection. We will work with development, architecture and DevOps to define quality standards, expand test coverage and ensure stability in frequent deployments.

Proven experience building Business Intelligence solutions with Power BI.
Advanced mastery of Power BI, including design and use of semantic models, relational modeling, DAX, performance optimization and building scalable dashboards.
Advanced mastery of SQL to build complex queries, prepare datasets and optimize their performance.
Experience designing relational models, defining correctly tables, relationships, cardinalities and filter directions.
Ability to identify, explain and avoid circular dependencies in Power BI.
Practical knowledge of row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
Basic Python proficiency applied to the transformation, validation or automation of data processes.
Experience raising requirements with stakeholders and transforming them into metrics, KPIs and useful reporting for the business.
Experience applying good practices of documentation, quality, deployment and change control in productive environments.

We are looking for a BI Engineer / Data Engineer with command of Power BI, SQL and Python to join a corporate data initiative with scope in Chile and Peru. The project consolidates information in a Data Lake and enables semantic models, reporting and analytics to support decision-making in a regional mobility and retail ecosystem.

The challenge combines technical depth and direct work with business areas. You will transform requirements into relational and semantic models, metrics and reliable dashboards. You'll also implement row-level security (RLS), optimize model performance, and avoid circular dependencies.

Functions of the position

Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI together with the business areas.
Design relational models and semantic models in Power BI, defining tables, relationships, cardinalities, filter directions, metrics and business rules.
Create and optimize DAX measures, identifying and avoiding circular dependencies within the model.
Implement and maintain row-level security (Row-Level Security, RLS) according to business profiles and needs.
Build complex SQL queries and optimize the preparation and performance of datasets.
Use Python to transform, validate and automate data processes.
Develop and maintain the data extraction, transformation and preparation layers necessary for BI solutions.
Raise requirements with stakeholders and convert them into KPIs, data definitions and deliverables.
Ensure the usability, consistency, scalability and performance of dashboards and models.
Document and version developments, applying good quality practices, change control and deployment to production.
Coordinate with data leadership and business areas to manage priorities, dependencies, risks and blockages.
