Description: This is a 12+ month contract role for a Full Stack / Python Developer located in McLean, Virginia. You will split your focus between backend and frontend development, working primarily with Python and Java in a finance-focused environment. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend systems using Python for backend and database work • Support and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications • Work with PostgreSQL databases • Develop frontend features using Angular, Node.js, or jQuery • Collaborate with technical teams and non-technical business partners to understand and deliver requirements • Communicate effectively across teams with varying technical expertise Qualifications • Required • Proficiency in Python for backend and database development • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for support and maintenance • Strong PostgreSQL skills • Experience with at least one frontend framework or library: Angular, Node.js, or jQuery • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Preferred • Kubernetes • Docker • AWS (ECS/EKS) • OpenShift • Django • FastAPI • Cucumber / Cypress • Ping • LDAP • HashiCorp • Control-M #J-18808-Ljbffr
