Description:
Our engineering team is looking for a Frontend Engineer is passionate about crafting an exceptional user experiences and is enthusiastic about making an impact!
What you will be doing:

Collaborating with our product manager and designer to generate ideas for new features and establish new design standards for Hive.

Collaborating with a designer to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.

Participate in customer feedback sessions and gather user feedback.

Translate design wireframes and mockups into efficient and reusable React components.
-
Update Bootstrap pages to refresh legacy pages to meet current design standards.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

Participate in code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained at all times through strong testing practices.
Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of frontend and/or full stack development experience, with an emphasis on UX

Proficiency in React/Typescript and their core principles

Strong communication and technical writing/documentation skills
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code for performance and scalability
-
Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

Knowledge of testing frameworks/libraries such as Jest and React Testing Library.

Experience creating design system component libraries with tools such as Storybook.

Experience collaborating in Figma
-
Ability to work and drive projects effectively in a remote team environment

You might have a great CompSci or Engineering degree, or something else, or you dropped out, or you didn't even go to school - our team is made up of all kinds of smart people!
