Description: Our Technology Platform Engineering area
The Technology Platform Engineering area is responsible for building and evolving platforms, internal products and shared capabilities that accelerate software development across the organization. We work transversally with the Engineering, Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Cloud Engineering, FinOps, Security and Architecture teams, creating scalable, secure and standardized solutions that enable the delivery of products with quality and speed. We are expanding our operations to the world of Artificial Intelligence, structuring the capabilities, standards and platforms that will allow the safe, efficient and scalable adoption of AI throughout the bank's engineering.Your activities as CSixer
- Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of the C6 Bank API Gateway platform;
- Evolve and govern the API Gateway platform, defining usage standards, policies and best practices for consumer teams;
- Design and implement automations and internal tools that simplify onboarding and day-to-day work for teams that publish and consume APIs;
- Build and maintain metrics, indicators and observability dashboards (metrics, logs and traces) for monitoring the environment and APIs;
- Evolve and maintain CI/CD mats for provisioning and deploying the platform and gateway configurations;
- Manage the platform's infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring consistency, traceability and reproducibility of environments;
- Work with engineering teams to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement in the development experience and API lifecycle;
- Create and maintain clear, accessible and updated technical documentation for the team and platform users;
- Work on incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of preventive actions.
Requirements and Experience
- Solid experience with Cloud environments, especially AWS and/or GCP;
- Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices;
- Solid experience with Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of Python for developing automations, internal tools, integrations and optimization of operational processes;
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices, with experience in building, maintaining and evolving continuous delivery pipelines;
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway, including configuration, security, routing and API management;
- Knowledge of the complete software development cycle (SDLC), from conception and architecture to deployment, operation and support;
- Experience with observability, monitoring and troubleshooting tools and practices, including metrics, logs and traces;
- Solid knowledge of Linux, with experience in administration, automation and problem solving in production environments;
- Ability to work collaboratively with Development, Architecture and Platform teams, contributing to the evolution of the DevOps culture and operational efficiency.
- Differentiations: Experience with microservices architectures;
- Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux or similar);
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus or Elastic;
- Knowledge of security in cloud and DevSecOps environments;
- AWS, GCP, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications.
