Here you get the opportunity to work with software that sits in physical devices at customers around Europe. The role suits you who want to work broadly, practically and close to the product in an environment where you can take your own initiative and contribute to both technology and structure going forward.

About the position

As an Embedded developer, you will be an important part of the development work linked to the software in the company's products. You will work with embedded C, sensor integration, bug fixes, tests and releases. The team is small, which means you get a broad role where you work closely with both product, technology and customer needs.

The work includes both stable releases, patch releases and customer-related improvements. You will also work with test environments, scripting and tools based on Raspberry Pi, Python and Bash. For the right person, there are good opportunities to eventually grow towards more customer contact, technical sales or product-related responsibilities.

Work tasks

In the role you will, among other things:

• Develop and maintain software for embedded systems• Work with embedded C, firmware and RTOS environments• Manage sensor integration, bug management and patch releases• Test, debug and quality-assure the software in physical devices• Work with test environments, scripts and tools in Python and Bash• Handle technical issues linked to the product's use by customers

We are looking for you as

• Has an engineering education in, for example, computer technology, electronics, technical physics, software engineering or another relevant field• Has knowledge in C programming• Has an interest in embedded development, IoT and hardware-related software• Is used to Linux• Has good knowledge of English, as the language is used in communication internally and external

It is advantageous if you have experience with RTOS, for example Zephyr, Python, Bash, Raspberry Pi, sensor integration, signal technology, measurement technology or metrology.

As a person, you are curious, driven and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking responsibility, testing yourself and working in an environment where all frameworks are not always set from the start. You don't have to know everything from the beginning, but we believe that you like to learn new things, take your own initiative and at the same time dare to ask for help when needed.

About the company

The company is a small and innovative tech startup in Linköping that develops products in IoT and sensor technology. The product is today used by customers all over Europe and the development work takes place close to both technology, product and customer needs. Here you will be part of an environment with short decision-making paths, great personal responsibility and good opportunities to influence.

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant on site with the company.
