Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Django Developer with a strong background in data science to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications that support our data-driven products.

Your work will directly contribute to the enhancement of our AI capabilities and the delivery of high-impact solutions to our clients. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about both backend development and data science, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:

-Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and easy to maintain.

-Data Science Integration: Collaborate with our data science team to integrate machine learning models, data pipelines, and analytics tools into web applications.

-API Development: Develop RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between our applications and external systems.

-Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, manage migrations, and ensure data integrity and performance across our platforms.

-Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance of our applications, ensuring they are responsive and can handle high volumes of traffic and data.

-Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of the codebase, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.

-Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products on time.

-Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Django, Python, data science, and AI technologies, and apply new knowledge to your work.

 

*Qualifications:

-Data Science Knowledge: Solid understanding of data science principles, including experience working with data scientists to implement machine learning models and data pipelines.

-Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of Django and related libraries. Familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn is a plus.

-Database Skills: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

-API Development: Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

-Version Control: Proficient in Git and version control workflows.

-Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing requirements.

-Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

-Remote Work: Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working in a remote environment.

 

*Preferred Qualifications:

-AI/ML Experience: Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deploying machine learning models into production.

-Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-based data services.

-DevOps Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
