Description: Range of tasksDesign modern IT automation with Ansible and AWX. Work in international DevOps teams, optimize processes and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.

As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Ansible & Automation, you will develop innovative automation and operational processes that noticeably simplify the everyday life of international teams. You will work on stable, scalable and future-proof IT solutions and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of automation platforms.

Whether infrastructure automation, configuration management, monitoring or incident management: You ensure that IT systems can be operated efficiently, reliably and sustainably.
• You develop and optimize automation solutions with Ansible and drive their continuous development.
• You create, maintain and optimize workflows, playbooks and roles with Ansible and AWX.
• You support international teams in the implementation and productive use of automation solutions.
• You analyze existing automation processes, identify optimization potential and develop them sustainably.
• You design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to increase the stability and transparency of the systems.
• You work closely work with international DevOps, infrastructure and operations teams and contribute your expertise to joint projects.
• You analyze disruptions, resolve incidents and ensure smooth operation of the automated processes.
• You document automations, workflows and best practices and ensure the transfer of knowledge within the teams.
• You contribute your own ideas for improving processes, procedures and automation standards.

ExperienceThis brings you with:

Must-have
• Completed IT training or studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the field of DevOps, IT automation or system engineering
• Very good knowledge of Ansible and the development of automation workflows
• Confident use of YAML
• Experience with AWX or comparable automation platforms
• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python
• Experience in dealing with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of German and English at least B2 level
• Willingness for occasional business trips within Germany (approx. 20 days per year)

Nice-to-have
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL or other enterprise database environments
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
• Knowledge of Jira or comparable ticket and Collaboration tools
• Experience in the international IT environment
• AWS
