Data Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

- Development of applications for collecting and processing machine data
- Building and maintaining robust data pipelines for production-related systems
- Optimizing existing systems for data aggregation and cleansing
- Providing data for web applications and dashboards
- Further development of front-end components for the visualization of Production data
- Collaboration on data science projects and machine learning integrations
- Participation in the further development of the software infrastructure in the OT environment
- Implementation of security-relevant measures in the area of OT security

This is what you bring with you

- Completed studies in computer science, information technology or a comparable degree
- Very good knowledge of Python and Java as well as their frameworks (e.g. Spring, Django)
- Experience in data engineering with tools such as Apache Airflow or dbt
- Practice in interface development e.g. using OPC UA, REST, MQTT
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC 61131, ideally Codesys
- Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure advantageous
- Good written and spoken English skills required
- Confident use of MS Office programs (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
