Description: Would you like to help build a new national data platform for kindergartens and primary schools?
We are looking for a data and platform manager who will help shape the development of a new national solution for reporting and managing individual data. You will have a central role at the intersection between technology, development and subjects. We are looking for you who have a good understanding of technology and who are motivated by coordinating, prioritizing and driving development work forward. You will not primarily develop code yourself, but be a central driving force in the development of the platform through collaboration with developers, suppliers and professional environments.

We are looking for both experienced candidates and recent graduates with good academic results, an interest in technology and ambitions to develop in the data and platform area. Tasks and responsibilities will be adapted to the candidate's experience and competence.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary environment with high competence in data, analysis and system development, and will be part of one of the largest data initiatives in the education sector in the coming years.
Work tasks
As a data and platform manager, you will, among other things,


  • contribute to setting the direction for the development of the new platform, including architecture and technology selection

  • lead and coordinate development work in collaboration with a development team of five hired developers, suppliers and professional environments

  • follow up the daily development and management of the platform and ensure stable and good deliveries in collaboration with the development team and service manager.

Qualifications
You have

  • relevant higher education at bachelor or master level in, for example, computer science, information systems, information technology, computer science or similar (long and relevant experience can compensate for the education requirement)

  • good understanding of technology and interest in how data platforms, integrations and technical solutions are built and managed

  • interest in or experience with coordination, further development or management of technical solutions

  • good communication skills in Norwegian, verbally and in writing

For more experienced candidates at senior advisor level, experience from

  • complex IT solutions

  • platform management or technical coordination

  • supplier follow-up

It is an advantage if you have experience with (applies to all candidates)  

  • agile working methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence 

  • SQL, Python or similar technologies

  • data-driven solutions 

  • public sector 

  • information security, privacy or risk assessments

  • The position is paid as first consultant/advisor/senior advisor (job code 1408/1434/1364), with annual salary from NOK 560,000 to 930,000 per year. Salary and job code are assessed based on experience and qualifications. For specially qualified applicants, a slightly higher salary may be considered.
