CONTEXT
Our client, a public administration, is leading a program to migrate its data processing from SAS Guide to a Python / PySpark environment.
You are joining a team already in place, replacing a consultant, and are attached directly to a business department made up of non-technical profiles (tax specialists, statisticians) who are not familiar with Python.
MISSIONS

Participate in the migration of SAS processing to PySpark: analysis of existing data, rewriting, performance optimization and validation of results with business teams.

Popularize technical concepts with non-developer users, with words that speak to them.
*
Design and lead Python training workshops and PySpark adapted to their level.
*
Support change management and help users become autonomous in their daily uses.
*
Be available to answer their questions and remove their blockages throughout the migration.
The initial, full face-to-face phase will allow you to immerse yourself in the context and business challenges.
CONDITIONS OF WORK

Location: Paris (Gare de Lyon sector)

Start-up: ASAP
*
Duration: long mission, until 12/31/2027
*
Pace: full-time, face-to-face during the start-up phase, then 2 days of teleworking per week
1.
8 years minimum of experience in data engineering
2.
PySpark expertise and very good command of Spark
3.
Strong practice of Python
4.
Experience migrating from SAS is a real plus
5.
Excellent communication and teaching skills : you know how to explain complex subjects simply
6.
Experience in training, leading workshops or change management appreciated
7.
Taste for working as close as possible to the profession, patience and good listening skills
