Description: We are looking for a Python Data Engineer M/F passionate about data and software engineering to join a dynamic team in Bordeaux. You will work on migration, development and data analysis projects in a modern technical context.

Main missions:

* Design and develop Python scripts and programs for rewriting SAS programs.
* Participate in statistical modeling and data analysis using advanced methods.
* Work in close collaboration with technical and business teams to ensure the quality and relevance of the solutions developed.

Responsibilities:

* Analyze the functional and technical needs linked to the migration of SAS programs to Python.
* Ensure the robustness, performance and maintainability of the product code.
* Document the solutions and participate in the capitalization of knowledge within the team.

Technical environment:

* Python (pandas or polars modules, numpy, scipy, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly)
* SQL, DBT, ClickHouse
* Git, GitLab
* Ability to read and understand SAS code (data step, proc sql, macros) or to quickly master this environment.

Terms:

* Position based in Bordeaux, with the possibility of partial teleworking depending on the organization of the team (approximately 2 days/week).

We are looking for a curious and rigorous M/F Python Data Engineer, ready to take on new challenges in the data field.

Experience:

* First experience in Python-oriented development data, ideally on migration or massive data processing projects.

Training:

* Degree in computer science, data science, statistics or equivalent desired.

Technical skills:

* Mastery of Python and its modules dedicated to data processing and analysis (pandas or polars, numpy, scipy, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly).
* Mastery of SQL essential.
* Knowledge of DBT and ClickHouse preferred.
* Mastery of git and GitLab.
* Ability to understand or quickly learn the SAS language (data step, proc sql, macros).

Soft skills:

* Autonomy, adaptability and team spirit.
* Good communication and analytical skills.

More :

* Knowledge of SAS and/or R is an additional asset for this position.
