Required skills:

Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
Proficiency in SQL, experience in query design and optimization.
Experience implementing and maintaining Cloud solutions and architectures.
Experience in building and maintaining Data Architectures and Pipelines.
Problem solving skills.
Analytical thinking and critical.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Knowledge and experience of the implementation cycle of agile methodologies.

Required experience:

Graduated professional in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics or similar.
5 or + years of practical experience in Data Engineering in GCP.
Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for–Data Engineer and/or Architect.
Experience in data consumption through services/tools such as Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud run, Spark, Airflow, Dataplex, dbt-core, pandas and Python.
Intermediate/advanced B2 level English (desirable).
Experience working with JIRA-type agile methodologies monitoring tools (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) (desirable).

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer who can design, build and optimize data architectures and ETL/ELT integration flows on Google Cloud Platform, implementing scalable engineering solutions and efficient data models, to guarantee the availability, quality and governance of the information required for strategic decision making and the development of advanced analytics.

You will be responsible for delivering efficient, robust and scalable solutions in GCP. Your role will involve:

Design, build and maintain high-performance, scalable data processing systems in GCP.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources in GCP.
Implement solutions for efficient storage and processing of large volumes of data using GCP tools and services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and design appropriate data product level solutions in the context of GCP.
Optimize the performance of data processing systems and ensure data integrity in GCP.

Conditions

Hybrid modality in the Las Condes commune, close to the Tobalaba metro.

Estimated duration of the project: 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
