NEXTON is recruiting a Data Engineer M/F, on a CDI basis, inValbonne (06)!

Your future working environment:

We are looking for a Data Engineerto strengthen the teams of one of our clients. You join a new project team within the Marketing & Client Data area to design and develop a decision-making platform and a personalization component powering Machine Learning models, all in an agile and international framework.

Your missions:

• Development and optimization of Data pipelines: You design and build the central data platform while strengthening ingestion flows (Google Tag Manager, Shopping Data Hub) to efficiently power recommendation and personalization models.

• Architecture, DevOps and Quality: You manage the cloud infrastructure via Terraform, deploy CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and configure Kafka streaming flows.

• Documentation and international collaboration: You write internal technical documentation and collaborate on a daily basis in English with product, technical and professions distributed between France and abroad.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Higher education (BAC+5 or equivalent), you have at least 3 years of proven experience in a Data Engineer position.

Fluent English required (C1 minimum)to lead and participate daily in meetings, technical exchanges and writing documents in an international environment.

• Technical requirements:

  • Proficiency in the GCP environment: Solid experience on BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataproc and Dataflow.

  • Development: Proven practice of Java and Python.

  • DevOps & Streaming : Proficiency in Terraform, GitHub Actions and configuration of Kafka.

Overall autonomy (ability to process a request from A to Z), proactivity and analytical skills to deal with complex needs.
