We are looking for experienced cloud operations engineers with in-depth background knowledge in Linux, Windows, network technology and cloud environments who would like to strengthen our customer operations team.

In our team you will support our business and enterprise customers in analyzing and solving problems relating to our infrastructure. From accepting fault reports to narrowing down the cause to restoring operations, the entire processing chain is in your hands. Your customer orientation and problem-solving skills will benefit you.

We work around the clock in three shifts. You are willing to participate in shift rotation and be scheduled accordingly. Since part of our work touches on safety-sensitive areas, you are willing to go through an extended safety check procedure (SÜ2). Our customers communicate in German and English - you are fluent in both languages.

Task area

• At the same time technical consultant and ops engineer alongside our enterprise customers in complex environments.
• Analyzing customer workloads, debugging complex faults, creating permanent solutions or workarounds.
• Automation of recurring problems/tasks using scripts and tools (AI).
• Exchange with developer and sales teams to increase quality and stability.
• Work on sensitive environments under security and compliance requirements.
• Monitoring of the cloud infrastructure and proactive action in the event of an error.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in operating cloud infrastructures, Linux, networks, virtualization (Qemu / KVM), containers (Kubernetes), storage systems and web requests (APIs).
• Pronounced “customer-first” mentality and high problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiasm for error analysis (log files, traces, metrics) and troubleshooting.
• Network debugging skills (LAN/WAN/VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Knowledge of S3 and storage systems (file, object, block).
• Experience with common monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie, etc.).
• Knowledge of common development and deployment tools (e.g. Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git).
• Experience with ticket and documentation systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Knowledge of scripting and software development, ideally also using AI tools.
• Willingness for extended security check (SÜ2).
• Fluent knowledge of German and English.
