Within the Software Engineer Workshop, we find communities of practice organized by tribes. The idea is to come together and share common expertise, to develop skills in human-sized teams. Your missions will therefore be to do consulting, delivery and R&D.

Being a Confirmed Consultant at OCTO means:

1- Doing consulting as well as delivery: participate in the agile development of applications in compliance with Crafts best practices with a Gen AI touch: check! And of course, who says advice, says convictions: offering the most suitable solution also means knowing and daring to challenge our customers (and it's in our DNA!);

2- Actively participate in “Software Engineer” R&D: on the program, technological monitoring & best practices. Some “hot” topics of the moment? Gen AI, Crafts, Archi, Responsible Digital;

3- Train & mentor: sharing knowledge and improving the skills of employees is important to you? We are convinced and loudly advocate the value of transmission. Mentoring and management of your career will therefore be in the spotlight. And yes, at OCTO knowledge is not a private preserve.

Qualifications

1- A base of technical know-how: Crafts (TDD, DDD, pair programming, code review, etc.), Gen AI

You master one or more languages among Java, Python, React, Angular or Vue or Flutter. You demonstrate curiosity and explore their potential in Gen AI uses. Beyond technologies, it is your desire to learn and progress that makes the difference.

You have the desire to know more about the subjects of Responsible Digital, Eco-design, Accessibility, etc.

2- A range of interpersonal skills: a maverick spirit capable of questioning and challenging ideas, a strong appetite for teamwork and success collective. 

Hybrid work policy: We practice 2/3 days of face-to-face work per week. Since teleworking is linked to the nature of each consulting mission, flexibility is necessary if the client context requires it.

Location: Our offices are based in Opéra. Our missions take place mainly in Paris and Île-de-France

Language proficiency: A minimum C1 level of French is required to intervene effectively with our clients.
