Junior Back-End Developer
Excelia is a multinational Consulting, Technology and Professional Services firm with 25 years of experience. We provide service in more than 50 countries in Europe, Latin America and the United States from our 9 own offices.

Are you passionate about software development and want to grow in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a Junior Back-End Developer profile to join our technology team in Madrid, with a hybrid modality. This position is ideal for those who have 1-2 years of experience in back-end development, knowledge of Node.js, Python or .NET, and some familiarity with front-end.

Location: Madrid (hybrid mode)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable APIs and back-end services.

• Work with Node.js/Express, Python/FastAPI and/or .NET Web API Gateway.

• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate functionalities and services.

• Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of code, documentation and good practices.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in back-end development.

• Knowledge of Node.js/Express, Python/FastAPI and/or .NET Web API Gateway.

• Some knowledge of technologies front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks).

• Ability to work in teams and good communication skills.

Will be valued:

• Experience in RESTful API design.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and control of versions (Git) technician.
