At Talana, a leading platform in the transformation of Human Resources management through
technology, we are looking for a System Reliability Engineer, to join our technology team.

Your main mission would be to ensure the reliability, availability, performance and scalability of Talana platforms and services.In addition, be the continuous support and develop the management of pre-productive and productive projects to multiple teams within the organization.

We are looking for a backend developer with at least 2 years of experience in Python, focused on building and maintaining APIs and services using Django (including the Django REST Framework) or some Framework.You should have solid experience with PostgreSQL, schema design and complex queries, as well as a history of implementing CI/CD and automated deployment.Experience in Docker and Kubernetes will be an advantage, although it is desirable and not required.We are looking for someone who contributes at a high-level design level, who is fluent in clean code practices, and who can work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Communication skills, proactivity and results orientation will be key to success in this role.

Today we seek to strengthen our Backend Development team to design and maintain robust APIs and services that support our people management solutions.The project focuses on building a scalable platform based on microservices, deployed in cloud environments, with CI/CD pipelines and a solid data layer for a fluid and reliable user experience.You will collaborate with multidisciplinary squads to deliver critical business functionalities, from architectural conception to implementation and monitoring in production.

• Design, develop and maintain APIs and backend services in Python, using Django and Django REST Framework when appropriate.
• Build and optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL, designing efficient and scalable schemas.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or other tools) for continuous software delivery.
• Implement code quality practices (SOLID, design patterns) and perform unit and integration testing.
• Participate in the definition of systems architecture, focused on microservices or service-oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring and scalability of applications.
• Evaluate and propose technologies, libraries and tools of the Python ecosystem to solve challenges efficiently.
• Resolve incidents in production with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Experience with end-to-end testing and software quality methodologies.
• Familiarity with Redis, message queues and service design patterns.
• Previous experience in agile environments and in the design of scalable solutions for high performance.
• Read and written technical English for reading documentation and communicating with remote teams.
• Active participation in the design and specification of complex functionalities, not only in the implementation.
• Ability to evaluate and propose new technologies, libraries and tools within the Python ecosystem to solve challenges efficiently.
