Emerging Travel Group is a travel-tech company that includes six brands: Russian Ostrovok.ru, B2B.Ostrovok, Ostrovok.ru Travel and international ZenHotels, RateHawk and Roundtrip. We are looking for a Python Developer to join the Partners team. Services are developed mainly in Python in conjunction with Django and partially in Golang.
Responsibilities:
- Planning service refactoring and coordinating major changes with colleagues and related teams; - Creation of prototypes of architectural solutions;
- Assessment and identification of risks in large projects;
- Mentoring middle-developers. Requirements:
- Experience in commercial development from 5 years;
- Experience in developing web services in Python3 in conjunction with Django from 2 years;
- Understanding the work of modern relational and non-relational DBMS, the limits of their application and possible optimizations;
- Understanding the principles of building services;
- Ability to measure code/solution performance;
- Knowledge of what git flow is and the ability to apply it;
- Command of the console (awk/grep/sed);
- Knowledge of code design patterns and architecture: MVC, REST, etc;
- Ability to understand someone else's code and structure of complex systems;
- Stable coverage of your code with unit tests.
